Born in England, Jon Gibbs now lives in New Jersey, where
he was Author-in-Residence. at Georgian Court University
from 2012 - 2017.

His middle grade fantasy, Fur-Face, about a shy teenager
who meets a talking cat that only he can hear, was
nominated for a Crystal Kite Award.
Jon's latest book, Abraham Lincoln Stole my Homework, is
about a 6th-grade loner who gets chased into history by
the time police and a ruthless assassin for crimes he
hasn't even committed. . . yet.
A seasoned presenter, Jon has taught over 200 writing workshops at college, schools, writing groups, and
libraries. He also teaches at writing conferences - most
recently at WRITE STUFF 2023 and THE LIBERTY
STATES FICTION WRITERS CONFERENCE 2023.
When he's not chasing around after his children, Jon can usually be found hunched over the computer in his basement office. One day he hopes to figure out how to switch it on.
